Don’t try to micro Manage yourself

Don't try to micro Manage yourself ( We  already have some who do that for us 🤣)

This buzz comes as a reflection of various buzzes on how we Manage ourselves.

Most of us have worked in big organisations and still are.

I bet there hasn't been a day gone by where you haven't beaten yourself up for the quality of your work. And if you didn't we all have that one manager who knows how to rub the thought in with the satisfaction of him adding the fuel he wanted.

We can't avoid that manager but what we can avoid is beating ourselves up as we try to micro Manage ourselves.

Recently a friend of mine on beBee said " don't beat yourself up". – Cyndi wilkins

We know this but what the mind knows it fails to realise and the heart fails to accept.

I have been more productive when I worked in a more relaxing mood than with stress.

The quality of my work more self-appreciated than if I did my work just for the heck of completing it.

Don't Micromanage yourself.
Know – Understand – Believe – Execute.
The KUBE Loop gives me the basic principles to guide our work. We need to have this loop dancing around our waist to be active and to achieve.

1. Know

You know what is expected of you. If you don't we have all the tools in the world. Offline and Online to brush ourselves on the work given.

2. Understand

Understand the work given to you. If you ask someone to do that work for you what do you expect them to accomplish. That's brings in understanding. Think like your boss to understand what he expects of you.

3. Believe

We have that inner voice on one side it tells us " Your gonna nail this project" and another one that tells us " Your gonna screw up so bad". When you successfully cross the above 2 stages you become confident. Believe you can accomplish the work and that belief in yourself drowns the other negative voice. You are only person who can make you do things for you. Be it at work or your personal life. Believe in yourself. Believe you can learn. Believe you can grow. Believe you can achieve.

4.Execute

Like I once said by sitting at the driver's seat. It ain't gonna take drive you home.

Execute your thoughts into actions. Your actions into results. Your results into analyses. Your failures into experiences. Your experiences into lessons for self and others. Your successes into motivations.

Update your skills and focus on your vision. Remember to love yourself and the work you do.  Even if the balance is uneven.  It should always be more on the loving yourself end.

Only when we love ourself can we love others. Only when we learn, we can teach and only when we give we can receive. These I've learnt are the basic principles of the universe.

Engagements and interactions are one of the best things I love about writing. As my learning journey continues I invite you to join me and share your experiences.

I am not perfect and I will not try to be. Being imperfect expands my opportunities to learn and grow. We must remain self-similar as my Fractal friend Milos quotes:

"We are self-similar fractals. That's why we are beautiful. The more you can define your self-similarity, more you can define yourself." – Milos Djukic

How much we know and understand ourselves is critically important, but there is something that is even more essential to living a Wholehearted life: loving ourselves. – Brene Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection

WHAT YOU NEED:

160 g Baking soda
60 ml Lemon juice
1/2 Tbsp Vinegar
1 Tbsp Hydrogen peroxide (3 %, from the pharmacy)
15-20 drops of fragrant oil
Make a mixture between the lemon juice and baking soda in a small bowl. Mix the vinegar and hydrogen in separate bowl. Combine the both bowls together and then add the fragrant oil. Then you can mix the two together and add the essential oils in the end.

Use:

Make half-ball shapes from the mixture and leave them to dry on baking paper, 3- 4 hours will be enough, but if you like you can leave them overnight.

In the morning they’ll be completely dry so you can store them in a glass jar and place them near the toilet bowl. When you feel that the toilet needs some freshening up just throw one in the toilet bowl and flush. It couldn’t be easier. It may take some time to prepare it but you’ll see how effective it is once you try it. It sure is much better than the toxic alternative and it will make your toilet smell fresh and clean for days in a row.

Enjoy in the freshness and cleanness of your toilet!

God Is Always In Control

Five Reasons Not to Worry About Tomorrow

Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say.

Psalm 139:4
My husband and I took off for our routine evening walk the other day. And as we rounded the walking trail, he repeatedly had to duck to avoid smashing his head against the branches that hung low. He endured this annoyance for a while.

However, that all changed when God showed him not to worry or be anxious…

The next day, before we headed out, he grabbed the trimming clippers from the garage. Armed with this weapon that he carried rifle style, we set off for our walk. As we drew closer, he gave a gasp of surprise. The maintenance folks had taken care of the trimming.

I couldn’t suppress my laughter as he carried the clippers back home.

We all do that, don’t we? When the branches of life annoy us, we get fed up. Sometimes we become anxious because the problem persists. Maybe we lost our job and spend night and day looking for another, or maybe we make poor decisions in our finances because we’re so upset about being without enough money. Then anger flares up, wondering if God is watching. And frustrated, we ask ourselves if He’s planning to do anything about it.

But through David’s words In Psalm 139, God reminds us the he is in full control!

He’s aware of our every move. “You know when I am resting or when I am working… (Psalm 139:2)
He reads our mind. “From heaven you discover my thoughts..” (Psalm 139:2)
He follows us wherever we go. “…You notice everywhere I go.” (Psalm 139:3)
God knows our habits, quirks and flaws. “You notice everything I do…” (Psalm 139:3)
God is ahead of the game. “Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say,” (Psalm 139:4)
Remember, that God is always in full control regardless of what we allow our insecurities to let us believe.

Pray this week:

Lord, help me let go of my worries and trust You to take care of me and all of my needs. Thank you for being a gracious God who knows my thoughts from afar.

Exercise Your Faith

Your faith is God-given and it works. Jesus said,
“…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed,
ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to
yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall
be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). Notice
what He said: “If ye have…” because at one time,
His disciples had no faith. That was when He asked
them, “…how is it that ye have no faith?” (Mark 4:40).
However, for us, the new creation, we were born again
with faith in our spirits.
There’s no Christian that lacks faith. God gave to
each one of us “the measure,” not “a measure,” of
faith. He gave us all the same seed of faith, but you’re
required to grow your faith and make it effective. The
circumstances and the crises of life are at different
levels, and require different levels of faith. There’s little
faith and great faith, and then there’s weak faith and
strong faith. You increase your level of faith by hearing
more of God’s Word (Romans 10:17), but to improve
the quality of your faith—the tensile nature—you have
to exercise your faith; you have to use it.
For instance, that someone has a large body with
a lot of flesh doesn’t necessarily mean the muscles are
strong; you strengthen them by using and exercising
them. Keep using and exercising your faith by acting
on the Word; faith always works. If you acted your
faith and it seemed like it didn’t work, go back to the
Word and learn some more, and try again.
It’s like a child learning to walk; it gets more perfect
with every step. It’ll be wrong to say of a child who’s
learning to walk, “Since this child has fallen three times,
I’ll never let him walk again.” The child would have to
keep at it until finally, his muscles are strong enough,
and that same child starts running.
Keep building and developing your faith by
learning more and more of God’s Word and putting
what you learn to work. Be quick to accept, believe,
and do the Word. Affirm and declare the Word,
irrespective of the contrary circumstances. That’s how
to build strong and prevailing faith,
Prayer
Dear Father, I rejoice in your
Word that’s at work in me and
building my spirit strong! I’m set
on the path of life, guided by your
Spirit in glory, and everlasting
triumph. I live the glorious life of
righteousness, dominion, grace
and power, today and always, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

There Are Positions Of Prayer

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with
thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2).
Did you know that there’re positions of prayer,
and that the different positions you assume
when you pray are important? For example, lying on
your bed to pray is one of the positions of prayer.
When you lie on your bed to pray, it’s meditative.
You’re likely going to start out praying in tongues,
because there’s a lot that can come through your spirit,
such as worship; you find that you’re worshipping
and praising the Lord upon your bed, like the Bible
says, “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing
aloud upon their beds” (Psalm 149:5). You can really
be stirred on your bed as you pray like that, with the
anointing welling up and overwhelming you. Before
long, you might soon bounce off the bed and start
pacing the floor.
Then, there’s kneeling down to pray. When you
want to pray on your knees, it’s important that you’re
specific and clear as to the things you want to pray
about. In Ephesians 3:14-15, Paul said, “For this cause
I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ…”; and he clearly enumerated the things he
wanted to pray about.
Then there’s the standing position. Jesus said,
friday

Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I thank
you for the revelation of your
Word to me today. I’m confident,
and therefore glad, that I have
answers to every request I make
in the Name of Jesus. I celebrate
your life in me, grateful that in
you I live, and move, and have
my being. My life is eternally
for your glory, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
“And when ye stand praying, forgive…” (Mark 11:25);
why? It’s because when you stand to pray, it’s often
a prayer of faith that proceeds from your mouth; you
start making decrees! However, the Master was quick
to caution that you don’t harbour unforgiveness against
anyone; you must walk in love, so your prayer will be
effective. He wants your prayer life to be effective. In
studying the Word, you’ll learn more on positions of
prayer.
God wants us to continue in prayer. As long as
there’s one sinner in the world, we must keep praying.
As long as the rapture of the Church hasn’t taken place,
we’ve got to pray. Prayer is a heavenly ministry; it’s
part of our priestly ministry as believers; always take
it seriously.
1 Timothy 2:1; 1 Corinthians 14:14-15; Psalm 145:18
