Same-Sex Marriage | The Truth About…

What does the Bible teach about homosexuality? How does God feel about same-sex marriage? Have we been misusing the Bible when citing it to condemn gay and lesbian behavior? Did Jesus ever mention it? Is it time for Christians to finally accept that homosexuality is a civic right equivalent to racial equality? In this lesson, Don Blackwell shines the light of God’s truth on these and other questions that are trending cultural topics.

10 KEYS ABOUT THE POWER OF HOPE/tony buwawa

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF ROMANS 8:25

"But if we hope for that we see not , then do we with patience wait for it .”

10 KEYS ABOUT THE POWER OF HOPE

1. Good news- IF God is the source of your hope, then your hope for a change can never be in vain . Amen. Roms 15:13 " Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Key – Hope is what fuels your faith and builds up your expectations .

2. God is the source of patience. There is no other way to your miracle if you re not patient in the midst of your storm. Hope is what helps you to become patient . Why? you believe it is going to turn by faith . Roms 15:5 "Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:”

3. Because God is the source of hope , then your case cannot be hopeless. Key? Hope is a spirit and as long as God the source of your hope lives in you , then I would advice you "don't quit." Lam 3:26(Amp)" It is good that one should hope in and wait quietly for the salvation (the safety and ease) of the Lord ."

4. Hope is what builds your expectation. Without hope you won't have any expectations. As long as you have hope, key- "God is at work" . see how scripture puts it .Lam 3:21(Amp)"But this I recall and therefore have I hope and expectation .” Why? you cannot have hope, if God is not working on your case.

5. What is hope ? A feeling of expectation and desire. Then the secret is this , if you will not give up , then you will receive your expectations from your source of hope (God). Lam 3:26 (Amp version)" The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God's word].”

6. Key- if you will not give up on your hope, then you shall see it by faith . Matt 9:29 (HCSB Version) says "Then He touched their eyes, saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith!”

7. Jesus is the anchor of our hope . So how can we be disappointed or have a hopeless case? . Heb 6:19 (HCSB Version) " We have this hope as an anchor for our lives, safe and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. “

8. Our hope in Christ is alive and not dead . So we are sure of our testimony., Amen. 1 Peter 1:3 (HCSB Version)" Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead on. “

9. Our hope in Christ is a sign that what we believe is "there" in the heavenly realms; but the key to unlocking it is our faith mixed with patience. James 1:4" But let patience have her perfect work , that ye may be perfect and entire , wanting nothing " without defects . Amen.

10 . Hope is like a man who already sees how his end will be and he keeps walking by faith . Proverb 4:18 says "But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day."

Personal quote:

" hope has a voice which says it is not over yet"

Prayer: Father help me to stand strong now in Jesus name , Amen.

He’s Counting On You

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for
it is the power of God unto salvation to every one
that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek (Romans 1:16)
As Christians, we’ve received the mandate to
take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s
a most sublime and high calling. It’s something you’re
to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction.
You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ
and the message of the Gospel. Don’t be ashamed of
who you are in Him, and don’t let others make you
ashamed of what you believe. Paul said, “…I am not
ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…”
(Romans 1:16).
It’s only the Gospel that can catapult the sinner
to salvation and righteousness. It’s only through the
preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of
God can be unveiled and embraced. So, there’re
no options to the Gospel. Its power and efficacy are
incontrovertible; it’s the only message that, when
received, makes sinners sons of God, in a moment
of time.
In 2 Timothy 1:13, Paul said to Timothy, “Hold
fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard
of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”

That means the words of the Gospel are potent, filled
with inspiration, power and divine energy. No sinner
should be around you over a period without being
transformed and impacted by the power of the Gospel
that you bear. Be determined about that. Be so fired
up with the Gospel that its impact in men’s lives, and
spread around the world is all that matters to you.
The Bible says those that turn many to righteousness
shall shine as stars forever (Daniel 12:3); shine for the
Master by making an impact with the Gospel. Go the
extra mile. Like Jesus, let your meat (what matters the
most to you) be to do the will of the Father, and finish
His work (John 4:34). Let it be what you live for. He’s
counting on you for the salvation of many in your
world, and in the regions beyond. Therefore, be faithful
in your responsibility as a soul winner.
Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for
entrusting me with the divine
responsibility of reaching those
in my world and in distant lands
with the message of eternal life.
The light of your glorious Gospel
that I bear dispels the darkness
in the hearts of the unconverted,
destroying the bonds of religion
and establishing them in your
righteousness, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.

Beware Of Evil Communication

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good
manners (1 Corinthians 15:33).
Through the Word of God we’re trained
and cultured with good manners and godly
behaviour, but some people can corrupt your good
character through their unwholesome and perverse
communication. Evil communication corrupts good
manners. Any communication that negates, rejects
or challenges the authority of God’s Word is an evil
communication. Therefore, beware of such.
The Bible says, “He that walketh with wise men
shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be
destroyed” (Proverbs 13:20). Psalm 1:1 says, “Blessed
is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth
in the seat of the scornful.” The wrong company can
influence you to do the wrong things.
For instance, the Bible says, “Show respect to the
aged; honour the presence of an elder…” (Leviti cus
19:32 MSG). Ephesians 6:2 says, “Honour your father
and mother.” Imagine that you have a friend who
says you don’t have to do it. That’ll be an ungodly
counsel. The Word says, “pray without ceasing” (1
Thessalonians 5:17). But your friend says, “Must you
pray all the time?” The Word tells you to not neglect
church meetings, but your friend says otherwise. Don’t follow his ungodly counsel, but do the Word always. In 1 Corinthians 5:11 GNB, the Bible says, “…you should not associate with a person who calls himself a believer but is immoral or greedy or worships idols or is a slanderer or a drunkard or a thief. Don’t even sit down to eat with such a person.” It parallels the Spirit’s
admonition in Philippians 3:2, to beware of dogs, evil workers, and manipulators. It’s a stern warning from the Lord. When you see an inscription on someone’s
gate that reads, “Beware of dogs,” they’re warning you of the dogs inside; not the ones outside.
Also, when it says beware of “evil workers,” the Greek rendering actually means “mischief makers”;
mischievous people. The Bible wouldn’t warn you of such people if they weren’t dangerous. Therefore, if someone, whom you may even respect, tells you
something you know isn’t consistent with the Word, you shouldn’t accept it. Be guided by the Word in all you do, and your life will glorify God.
Prayer
Dear Father, I walk in the
prearranged paths which you
made ready for me before the
foundations of the world. I’m
guided by your Spirit to walk
in wisdom and understanding,
filled with the thoughts of
righteousness. I’m guided and
regulated by the Word, today
and always, in Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
