Why Ferruccio Lamborghini’s Temper Made Him An Icon!

Check out the unbelievable story of Ferruccio Lamborghini, who was inspired to build one of the biggest motor brands after a heated argument with another motor legend!

1. A Master Mechanic!

During World War II, Ferruccio Lamborghini was stationed on the isolated island of Rhodes as a vehicle maintenance supervisor for the Italian Royal Air Force. It was there he honed his master mechanical skills

2. Lambo Tractor

The first ever Lamborghinis were actually tractors – not quite the luxurious sports cars you see today! Ferruccio would make the machines out of his spare parts and people absolutely loved them!

Next: They were an instant hit!

Pretty much overnight, Ferruccio’s tractor business took off! They were known for their quality performance and stylish aesthetic. Ferruccio owned the popular Ferrari 250GT model but one day he noticed something strange about it – the clutch was identical to the ones used in his tractors! Furious, he went directly to Enzo Ferrari to complain.

Enzo Ferrari reacted badly and said to Lamborghini:”You’re just a silly tractor manufacturer, how could you possibly know anything about sports cars?” Lamborghini spat on the floor in front of Ferrari and stormed out!  Lamborghini was determined to prove Ferrari wrong, so he set himself the challenge of manufacturing his very own high-performance sports cars!

In 1963, Ferruccio and his Lamborghini team created the 350GTV, a Ferrari rival supercar. It was revealed at the Turin Auto Show.

Ferruccio was in such a rush to show that he could create a supercar, he left out the time-consuming task of building an engine to be ready in time for the unveiling! He packed a bunch of bricks in the front and kept the hood closed.

Lamborghini appointed Gian Paolo Dallara, formally behind IndyCars to complete some of the engineering work for the 350GTV. He is one of the world’s most elite engineers.

When Lamborghini released the 1960s Miura, it set the world alight and all of the top celebs were driving it. A Super famous Lambo fan was the singer Frank Sinatra who once famously said: “You buy a Ferrari when you want to be somebody. You buy a Lamborghini when you are somebody.”

Ferrari did not expect Lamborghini to make a successful batch of supercars, especially ones that became favored by huge stars! This bred a real rivalry between the two respected brands…

The reason for the famous bull logo, as well as many of the models being named after different bulls, is because of Ferruccio’s April 28th birthday, which makes him a Taurus!

In 1987, Chrysler bought Lamborghini and they immediately started to tinker with designs! Did Ferruccio sell the soul of his very-Italian brand to a bullish-American giant?!Giuseppe Bertone, head of one of Lamborghini’s partners, Bertone design house, shouted “Countach” the first time he saw the concept for Lamborghini’s new flagship model. In English, Countach translates to “Bloody Hell,” hence the Lamborghini Countach was born!

Lamborghini wanted to dominate the world and, unlike Ferrari, they had no problem stepping into different markets. They even released SUVs, like the LM002 pictured above, that had over 700 horsepower! Ferrari reluctantly built street cars after bombing destroyed his factory in Modena. He relocated to Maranello but, unfortunately, it got bombed again! Street cars were just a way to bring in more revenue. The Lamborghini powerboat won a number of offshore championships and it’s known for its slick interiors as well as awesome under-hood specs. It is also capable of outputting 775 horsepower!

Ferruccio Lamborghini tragically passed away due to a heart attack on February 20, 1993, and it shook the entire motor industry! Before he died, Ferruccio put in place his visions for the brand’s future. The Lamborghini brand has become synonymous with the word ‘supercars’ and they are now considered the best-looking vehicles on the market! We find it hard to disagree…The Lamborghini Aventador – released in 2011 – is now considered the most iconic vehicle ever released by the brand. It can blaze from 0-62 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds! Incredible!

The Lamborghini brand built the first ever Viper engine, an extremely high-end piece of machinery! The original aluminum version is currently locked safely away in a Detroit garage.

Due to their high-performance, the Italian police force use nothing but Lamborghini Gallardos when transporting organ donations. You see, the supercar even saves lives! The pure speed and power of Lamborghinis make them desired by everyone, including Kanye West and a load of criminals!  Ferruccio Lamborghini wanted to overpower Ferrari, but did he manage to do it?! We will leave that to you to decide…

The Lamborghini brand has tried its hand everything, from boats to F1 racing to street cars! Ferruccio should have been a very proud man!

Easter Mysteries to Reconsider The Mystery that Saves Us From Ourselves

The Mystery that Saves Us From Ourselves

Written by Susan on 27/03/2016
Series: Weekly Devotional
Tags: Cross, Crucifixion, Easter, Jesus, Resurrection, Salvation
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

I Thessalonians 5:9-10
Easter, an important holiday for Christians, is upon us again. Each year we have the chance to reconsider what it means. Will we ever truly grasp the meaning of Easter? Jesus came to the world to die for us. Why did He have to do that?

Why We Need Saving:
In Romans 3:10 an Old Testament quote from Psalm 14:1-4 is given to remind us that “no one is righteous, no not one.” Since Jesus is the only person who ever lived a sinless life, He is the only one who is able to perfectly follow God’s will. The rest of us all fall short. Fall short of what? God’s holiness is the standard, so we can do nothing but fall short. But God has not left us alone and without help!

How We Are ‘Saved’:
“But … always give thanks to God … because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.” (2 Thessalonians 2:13). So, always remember that this plan is God’s idea and His way to express His love for us. “For God has NOT destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him.” (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10) Even though it is so difficult to understand, God wants to have an everlasting relationship with us, and He has done the work for this to happen! We must receive His great offer to live our life for Him, how can we possibly refuse?

What Replaces Our Brokenness?
Even though we are broken, God provides a way for us to heal, grow and enter into a relationship with Him. Glory to God! This is the meaning of Easter! “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). There is so much more that God does for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Read the entire chapter of Romans 8 for more ideas. But, for now, just imagine that you can live without any thoughts that criticize you or make you disapprove of yourself. Now that is a resurrection thought!

Pray this week:

Dear Lord, Help me to see how much You want me to live in Your presence. Help me to see Easter in my life. Show me how to live beyond my brokenness. Praise to You for all that You have done to reach me, the sinless way You love me, and the undeserved way You accept me. I am humbled, when I learn about your works. Amen.

What does Easter mean to you?

Graphene-based sieve turns seawater into drinking water

By Paul Rincon
Science editor, BBC News website
3 April 2017
From the section Science & Environment 42 comments    Artwork: Graphene-based membranes hold huge promise in desalination
A UK-based team of researchers has created a graphene-based sieve capable of removing salt from seawater.
The sought-after development could aid the millions of people without ready access to clean drinking water.
The promising graphene oxide sieve could be highly efficient at filtering salts, and will now be tested against existing desalination membranes.
It has previously been difficult to manufacture graphene-based barriers on an industrial scale.
Reporting their results in the journal Nature Nanotechnology, scientists from the University of Manchester, led by Dr Rahul Nair, show how they solved some of the challenges by using a chemical derivative called graphene oxide.
Isolated and characterised by a University of Manchester-led team in 2004, graphene comprises a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice. Its unusual properties, such as extraordinary tensile strength and electrical conductivity, have earmarked it as one of the most promising materials for future applications.
But it has been difficult to produce large quantities of single-layer graphene using existing methods, such as chemical vapour deposition (CVD). Current production routes are also quite costly.
On the other hand, said Dr Nair, "graphene oxide can be produced by simple oxidation in the lab".
He told BBC News: "As an ink or solution, we can compose it on a substrate or porous material. Then we can use it as a membrane.
"In terms of scalability and the cost of the material, graphene oxide has a potential advantage over single-layered graphene."

Of the single-layer graphene he added: "To make it permeable, you need to drill small holes in the membrane. But if the hole size is larger than one nanometre, the salts go through that hole. You have to make a membrane with a very uniform less-than-one-nanometre hole size to make it useful for desalination. It is a really challenging job."
Graphene oxide membranes have already proven their worth in sieving out small nanoparticles, organic molecules and even large salts. But until now, they couldn't be used to filter out common salts, which require even smaller sieves.
Previous work had shown that graphene oxide membranes became slightly swollen when immersed in water, allowing smaller salts to flow through the pores along with water molecules.
Now, Dr Nair and colleagues demonstrated that placing walls made of epoxy resin (a substance used in coatings and glues) on either side of the graphene oxide membrane was sufficient to stop the expansion.

Restricting the swelling in this way also allowed the scientists to tune the properties of the membrane, letting through less or more common salt for example.
When common salts are dissolved in water, they always form a "shell" of water molecules around the salt molecules.
This allows the tiny capillaries of the graphene-oxide membranes to block the salt from flowing through along with the water.
"Water molecules can go through individually, but sodium chloride cannot. It always needs the help of the water molecules. The size of the shell of water around the salt is larger than the channel size, so it cannot go through," said Dr Nair.

By contrast, water molecules flow exceptionally fast through the membrane barrier, which makes it ideal for use in desalination.
"When the capillary size is around one nanometre, which is very close to the size of the water molecule, those molecules form a nice interconnected arrangement like a train," Dr Nair explained.
"That makes the movement of water faster: if you push harder on one side, the molecules all move on the other side because of the hydrogen bonds between them. You can only get that situation if the channel size is very small."
By 2025 the UN expects that 14% of the world's population will encounter water scarcity. As the effects of climate change continue to reduce urban water supplies, wealthy modern countries are also investing in desalination technologies.
Current desalination plants around the world use polymer-based membranes.
"This is our first demonstration that we can control the spacing [of pores in the membrane] and that we can do desalination, which was not possible before. The next step is to compare this with the state-of-the-art material available on the market," said Dr Nair.
In a news and views article accompanying the study in Nature Nanotechnology, Ram Devanathan, from the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, US, said more work needed to be done to produce graphene oxide membranes inexpensively at industrial scales.
He added that scientists also needed to demonstrate the durability of the membranes under prolonged contact with seawater and ensure the membrane was resistant to "fouling" by salts and biological material (which requires existing barriers to be periodically cleaned or replaced).
"The selective separation of water molecules from ions by physical restriction of interlayer spacing opens the door to the synthesis of inexpensive membranes for desalination," wrote Dr Devanathan.
"The ultimate goal is to create a filtration device that will produce potable water from seawater or wastewater with minimal energy input."

While I Kept Partying, My Parents Kept Praying – Part 4: Working All Things For Good

Foundationally, every single person has to be born again.

Written by Luis Palau
Tags: Salvation
This article was written by Andrew Palau.

In my life, I’ve seen God work out His promise of Romans 8:28, that He causes “all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” For example, I went to a lot performances of the rock band Grateful Dead before I followed Christ. Their model was festival and open air, and free flowing multi-generational. When the Palau Association wanted to reach large cities for Christ, I remembered my Grateful Dead days. My brother Kevin and I imagined a gathering far different from the crusade model for evangelism. We dreamed of a party that would contain not only the Gospel, but also Christian music. We told Dad, “Let’s go to a park, let’s go to a beach, let’s shut down the city streets… and proclaim Jesus Christ.”

In 1999, our dream came true. Our first two festivals were held in Portland, Oregon. Now our “CityFests” with two full days of live concerts, a children’s area, live action sports demos, Gospel presentations, and more have been held in cities across America and even around the world.

Today I present the Gospel, just like Dad. And God has used me to direct festivals and share His Good News in not only the United States, but also in Africa, Romania, Egypt, Mexico, India, and even Jamaica – the place where the Lord first opened my heart to His truth.

I was recently telling my personal story of salvation in Africa. The people were interested in the fact that Luis Palau’s son didn’t know the Lord. In reality, my story is not that unusual. Every generation has to be called to repentance and receive the Lord.

An Eternal Decision
Ever since I started walking with Christ, I’ve never tired of telling my story. I think one of the main things that every believer has to realize is: God rescued me. And that is so humbling.

Whether I look across a sea of a 100,000 faces, or peer into the eyes of one searching 12-year-old boy, I know that everybody has to individually decide: Will I follow Jesus Christ?

Foundationally, every single person has to be born again. There is no value in your culture, or your tribe, or your family in terms of eternity. It’s a personal decision that has to be made by all.

Even by the son of Luis Palau.

Are you trusting anything or anyone other than Jesus to make you a child of God? Have you personally decided to follow Jesus? Whether you have or haven't, you can talk with a caring Christian

Bible Terms: Family / The Bible is God’s guide to a healthy family

The Bible is God’s guide to a healthy family

Written by Luis Palau
Tags: Divorce, Family, Relationships
Family. What would we do without it? These basic human relationships between husband and wife, parent and child shape our personalities and script our comedies. Our families love us and they aggravate us—and we them. But this first and most basic unit of society—a husband and wife and the children born to or adopted by them was God’s idea.

The Bible is God’s guide to a healthy family, even as it describes the tragedies of families broken by sin. The Bible also uses the family relationship to illustrate the relationship between God and believers. Since God places enough value on the family to compare it with the relationship He has with His children, it deserves a closer look. Standard family terms such as father, son, children, and marriage are addressed both practically and symbolically in the Bible.

The following 12 terms create a greater understanding of the two-fold plan for the family that God has created, the family of God and our human family.

LOVE
Love conjures up many images and emotions. The word may evoke  the pain of a broken heart. It may remind us of the warmth of a lover’s embrace or the care and companion-ship of a parent, sibling, or friend. In the Bible, the word “love” covers this spectrum of uses and more. God deeply desires a love relationship with each of us; that is why He created us! But sin broke the relationship between God and humans. Love is so much more than an emotion (1 Corinthians 13:4-8), and God personally demonstrated His love for us by pursuing us in spite of our rejection of Him and our sin.

UNITY
God designed us to be part of a community, a family. Each Christian possesses gifts that complement the gifts of other believers. We are far more effective in worship, ministry, and godly living when we combine our gifts for the single purpose of glorifying God (Romans 15:5). When Christians work against one another, defeat is certain. The amazing truth is that we are joined not only with other Christians, but also with God!

The Bible tells us that when we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we are united with God because His Spirit comes to live in us. The apostle Paul used marriage to illustrate this concept: Christians are united with God, just as husbands and wives are united in marriage. Paul calls this unity a “mystery.” We are so deeply and profoundly united to God and to one another that even the inspired writer of Scripture can’t fully understand or explain it.

MARRIAGE
Marriage is God’s beautiful plan for a union between a man and woman who love each other with a spiritual, emotional, and physical commitment that continues to grow throughout the couple’s lifetime. Neither God nor humans have changed since the creation of humans and marriage, so the principles of a godly marriage, as spelled out in Scripture, are completely relevant for today (Matthew 19:5-6).

God designed and ordained marriage as a love relationship so deep and intimate that it is patterned after the relationship of Christ with His church. Since marriage is a living example of the union God desires to have with all people, this design is the foundation for the love-life God intends men and women to experience in their own marriages. The all-consuming, sacrificial love that Jesus has for those who believe in Him is the model for husbands and wives to follow.

FATHER
One of the great tragedies of our generation is the number of children who don’t know their fathers—or the children who have only been hurt by a father. But even those with present and loving fathers know that even the best dad has character flaws. Christians, however, have a Father apart from their human one: God Himself. Our heavenly Father wants us to call him by that very endearment—“Abba, Father.” He’s our tender and compassionate “Daddy,” our provider and protector (Romans 8:15).

God the Father perfectly cares for us, giving us all we need—though we may not understand how He is working. As children of God, we can expect to be disciplined if we err. And we shouldn’t be discouraged when this happens because that discipline shows that God loves us and that we truly belong to Him (Hebrews 12:5-8). Just as good parents teach their children not to do things that will hurt them, so our Father in heaven teaches us what is best for us (Hebrews 12:9-11).

CHILDREN
Today, a common misconception is that all people are born children of God. While each human being is a wonderfully unique creation of God, it is only when we choose to place our faith in Jesus for salvation that we become children of God. Then we are born into His family through the Holy Spirit (John 1:12-13; 3:5).

The Bible also says that God adopts us, mere creations, as His children, giving us full access to His love and riches (Ephesians 1:3-5)! Adoption is costly, and God so desired us that He paid our adoption fee with the very life of His only Son, Jesus. Will He forget, ignore, or abandon us after all that effort? Never! (Romans 8:31-32).

SON
“If you really want to understand someone,” President George W. Bush has said, “you look at his family and where he was raised.” Using this reasoning, what can we learn about Jesus Christ, the Son of God? The Bible says that Jesus is “the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15). This means that the Son is fully God; all of God the Father’s qualities are manifested in Him: love, justice, righteousness, and holiness. God the Son was also fully human—“the Son of Man” (1 Timothy 2:5).

While He was on the earth, He shared our experiences: temptation, hunger, fatigue, pain, and death. Since we belong to God, we now have the privilege of being “sons of God” (Romans 8:14-15). In many cultures, sons are favored and given the best inheritance. As God’s “sons,” we receive a priceless spiritual inheritance and all the blessings that come with it. Women, too, are “sons” of God because, in Christ, each believer holds this privileged standing no matter what their gender.

BROTHERS
Big brothers, baby brothers, blood brothers all imply a relationship characterized by warmth and similarity of character. In the Bible, brother can refer to both natural brothers and “brothers in Christ,” all fellow believers, both male and female. Jesus Christ said that anyone who does the will of God is His brother (and sister and mother) (Matthew 12:50).

Though Jesus is our God, we enter a fraternal, co-heir relationship with Him when we become children of God (Romans 8:17). Although that does not make us equal with Him, Christ is not ashamed to call us His brothers (Hebrews 2:11).

DISCIPLINE
Parents can see when their children are headed the wrong way, and it is their responsibility to steer them in the right direction. The Bible teaches that parents should discipline their children to train them correctly. That training must take into account how God has made that child (Proverbs 22:6) and must not embitter or exasperate him or her (Ephesians 6:4; Colossians 3:21).

Nobody likes to experience the pain, hardship, or disappointment that comes as a consequence of something done wrong. But the Bible is very clear that, although discipline is not something we desire, God’s discipline always comes out of His love for us. Discipline’s purpose is correction (Proverbs 5:23). When we mess up, we have to be shown the right way to go. Rest assured that if God is taking the time to set you straight, He loves you (Revelation 3:19).

DIVORCE
Why does God hate divorce? For the same reason we do. Divorce breaks a covenant made before God (Malachi 2:14). Divorce means that anger, betrayal, emptiness, and loneliness have replaced trust, love, joy, and peace. When God instituted marriage, He never intended to join two people together and then watch them tear their relationship apart a few years (or decades) later (Matthew 19:4-6). God feels His children’s pain; their sin that leads to divorce saddens Him.

Jesus explained that the only reason God allowed divorce in the Old Testament was because of the hardness of people’s hearts—not exactly a flattering reason. He went on to say that anyone who divorces a spouse, except for marital unfaithfulness, and gets remarried commits adultery (Matthew 19:8-9). That’s how seriously God takes the making—and breaking—of the marriage vows (Malachi 2:15-16).

OBEDIENCE
Children need to obey their parents to survive. Obedience is crucial for God’s children, too. Obedience means doing what God says no matter how unpopular, strange, or difficult the command is. Although doing what God says can be difficult at times, God has every right as our Creator to demand our obedience. When we obey Him willingly from a heart that trusts Him, our obedience is a gift of love to Him. The Lord says that this kind of gift means more to Him than any other sacrifice we could make (1 Samuel 15:22).

TRUST
All relationships are built on trust or destroyed by a lack of it—especially within a family. The Bible talks about a husband having full confidence in his wife (Proverbs 31:11) and the importance of a wife being able to trust the faithfulness of her husband (Malachi 2:15). Parents build trust in their children when they nurture them instead of exasperating them (Ephesians 6:4) God alone is completely trustworthy (Psalm 119:160). Anything else in which we trust will fail, whether it’s people, position, money, or ourselves.

We can fully trust God to give us salvation, to provide for our needs, and to be with us. He will follow through on every promise, he has made. Likewise, in our own lives, we need to prove that we are trustworthy. When people can trust us to keep our word, to look out for their best interests, to do what is right, then we will be displaying Christ’s character and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Did God Plan for Evil to Exist in the World?

We can choose to walk in God’s ways or we can choose to turn from Him.

Written by Hope on 31/08/2014
Series: Weekly Devotional
“God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:4

In the beginning, God created the heavens, the earth and all of the things in it. When God created people, he gave us free will. That means we can choose to walk in God’s ways or we can choose to turn from Him. Choices led to evil entering the world but, originally, God made a perfect and peaceful world.

Not Choosing God
The Bible records that God gave Adam, the first man, specific instructions to avoid “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 2:17). However, Adam chose to disobey God’s instructions. As a result, “sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death” (Romans 5:12). God didn’t intend for Adam to eat the fruit. That’s why God warned him. We can see that evil exists in the world because people choose to turn away from God, not because God wants evil in the world.

The Example of the Potter
Did God create us to be bad? No; God created people to be “in His own image” (Genesis 1:27). The book of Isaiah compares God to a potter and us to clay. A potter crafts clay into a good vessel that he desires. The potter doesn’t create the vessel to become corrupted by mold, and God didn’t create us to become corrupted by sin. Just as the potter doesn’t want his vessel to be smashed, God doesn’t want His people to perish.

Built for God’s Purpose
People have had the option of disobeying God ever since the original sin; but that is not what He wants us to choose. Sin separates us from God, but God wants to be with us. That’s why He sent Jesus to save us from our sins. People sin because “they have no fear of God” (Psalm 36:1), but God said, “I have made [all who claim Me as their God] for My glory” (Isaiah 43:7). Remember to choose God and obey His ways, so that we can bring Him glory. Even though God didn’t want us to choose evil, He still provided us with a way out through Jesus. Let’s be thankful and continue to choose goodness over evil.

Pray this week:

That God will strengthen you, so you can obey Him.

A woman is made in God’s image and her body is meant for His glory.

Do Not Commit Sexual Assault Or Harass Others
A woman is made in God’s image and her body is meant for His glory.

Tell the young men to have self-control in everything.

Titus 2:6
A woman is made in God’s image. Her body is meant to bring Him glory, not to become a source of ungodly lust.

God is working His unique plan in her life. Your life as a Christian man should exhibit the “self-controlled” fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:23), not the immoral ways of the flesh (Galatians 5:19). Even if you see her walking alone, even if she is wearing something provocative, even if she is sexually forward with you, resist temptations to be immoral in thought or deed. God has promised that He “will show you how to escape from your temptations” (I Corinthians 10:13). And He asks that you “offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing” (Romans 12:1).

God Commands Self-Control
In some societies, women are not permitted to leave their homes without a male relative. In others, women are blamed after being attacked by men, sometimes for wearing clothing that is ‘too provocative,’ or not trusted when they come forward with a story of sexual assault.

God’s Word says this is wrong! It is shameful for a man to brag about attacking or harassing women, and it is shameful to a community when such men go without facing consequences. Instead, God instructs His people repeatedly to behave with “self-control” (I Corinthians 7, I Timothy 3:2). Nowhere is it more difficult to have self-control than in the face of sexual temptation.

When Faced With Temptation To Torment
If you have the opportunity to take advantage of someone sexually, DON’T! Here are some ideas for avoiding temptation to commit sexual assault:

It is natural to recognise human beauty in a woman, and you can praise God for His work, without comment to the woman or to other men. Be truthful with yourself; if you feel lustful, acknowledge that sin before God and repent.
If you are often overcome with lust, discuss this with your pastor or another male friend who can help you move your focus to God.
When a woman is in public alone and it is appropriate to speak with her, limit yourself to a polite greeting. If you feel tempted to harass or sexually assault her, let God guide you to turn your attention elsewhere! If other men torment her, you can defend her, as appropriate; remember, “God’s Spirit doesn’t make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love, and self-control” (II Timothy 1:7), and “if you don’t do what you know is right, you have sinned” (James 4:17).
Simply put, treat every woman as respectfully you’d want a sister treated. Think of her as beloved by God: He has invested His image in her. His Son died for her sins, just as He did for yours. Your good behaviour will help “your light shine, so that others will see the good that you do and will praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Maybe you know someone who has experienced sexual assault? Maybe you have been the victim yourself? It happens more often in some cultures than others. Be aware of the need to show grace to those who have been harmed and correction for those attitudes which allow abuse to continue.

Pray this week:

That God will embolden you to turn away from sexual temptation and to treat others respectfully.

10 KEYS – WHAT DO YOU SEE ?

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE BOOK OF JOHN 8:38

"I speak that which I have seen with my father : and ye do that which ye have seen with your father"

10 KEYS – WHAT DO YOU SEE ?

1.If you fail to speak what you see by faith , you will always fail to receive , what the lord has prepared for you by faith . 2 Cor 4:13 (NIV)"It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak,"

2.What you see becomes spiritual reality , when you speak it . Gen 1:2 (NIV) " And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light."

3.Never speak what the enemy is showing you .Prov 31:32."If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth." Is a trap.

4.Never believe the thoughts from the enemy. lest you begin to speak what he is showing you. Prov 4:23 (NIV)"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."

5. The enemy will show you the facts, but God will always remind you of the truth .John 14:26 (NLT) "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative–that is, the Holy Spirit–he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you."

6.. In the Kingdom of God we are not ruled by our circumstances , but by what we see with the eyes of faith. Hab 2:4 "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith." We live by what we see with the eyes of faith !

7. What we see by faith , is as "real" as what we see in the physical .Matt 9:22 (ESV) "Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well." Once you see it , it is yours!

8.What you see by faith has the power to change the fact into the truth. Luke 2:7 (NIV) "Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim." Jesus never considered the fact , but worked with the truth.

9. What you see with the father is as real as the written word . John 1:1(NIV) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." No difference. period!

10. If you delight in what the Lord shows you , you would receive what he has prepared for you . Isaiah 64:4"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him."

BONUSES:

11. When God shows you a thing , he expects only one thing in return "believe only " so you can receive it . Luke 8:50 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."

12. If you celebrate what you see , God will celebrate you .If you fail to celebrate what you see , you limit God from celebrating you. Matt 14:31 (NLT) "Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him. "You have so little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" Don't doubt what you have seen with the father !

Personal quote:

" What you see , is what God has done , you only receive it by faith , if you believe it"

Prayer: Father help me to believe what I see with you in Jesus name , Amen.

You are blessed!

Wynd – the smartest air purifier ever

Wynd creates a bubble of clean air around you by removing dust, allergens, smoke, and pollution from your personal space. Since it filters harmful particles out of the air around you, Wynd helps you breathe clean air and feel refreshed.

Wynd isn’t just an air purifier—it’s an intelligent personal air quality system. It monitors your environment and cleans as needed. Wynd is the size of a water bottle, so it’s easy to use anywhere—in offices, hotels, cars, public transportation, and more. Wynd helps you breathe easy wherever you go.

Freshen up your car: Wynd can clean over 70% of particles in a typical car cabin in under 10 minutes. Wynd fits in standard cupholders.Keep your baby safe on the go with the Wynd Stroller Holder. In a semi-enclosed stroller, Wynd can reduce PM2.5 (fine particles) by over 50% and PM10 (coarse particles) by over 70%.

"You can't see what's in the air that you breathe. But the sensor attached to the Wynd air purifier can figure that out for you, and actually do something to clean up that air before it hits your lungs." – Tom's Guide

"Instead of being tied to one particular room or area, Wynd can adapt to different environment. This allows a range of possibilities for use." – PSFK

"Most startups just want to reinforce your phone case or maybe make your speakers a bit more portable. And then there are the ones that have the weight of the world on their shoulders" –

Wynd weighs less than a pound, so it goes where you go.

Wynd’s size makes it easy to travel with, and it’s a must-have for those going to polluted areas.

No need to keep Wynd plugged in: It lasts for 8 hours of typical use without having to charge it.

Wynd keeps your personal space free from particulates, including allergens, germs, and industrial pollution (PM2.5).

Wynd cleans these particles out quickly. Despite its small form factor, Wynd can deliver over 8 liters of clean air per second.

You don't need to wait to breathe fresh air. Wynd can instantly funnel clean air towards you.

Wynd is more than one device: It's an air quality tracker and purifier in one— and the tracker can actually detach for ultimate mobility.

Know your air quality at all times. The Wynd Air Quality Tracker continuously monitors your environment and alerts you when it becomes unhealthy. The tracker senses for the level of particulate pollution, from sources such as allergens, tobacco smoke, bacteria, mold spores, and smog.

The tracker detaches from the purifier and can clip onto things.

It's the smallest particulate sensor on the market, so you can easily take it with you.

Check the air quality at a glance: The tracker's light color shows you how healthy the air is.

Auto mode
We don't just tell you the air quality: We proactively take care of the problem. With Auto mode, Wynd can automatically adjust its purification level to maintain a clean environment.

Just sit back, relax, and know that Wynd is keeping your air healthy.

Learn more about what you're breathing
Open the Wynd app (for iOS and Android) to get more insights into your environment.

Get notified when the air quality around you is getting worse.

Wynd tells you how much pollution it's kept out of your lungs. By tracking air quality, airflow level, and usage duration, we can determine how many milligrams of particulate matter Wynd has cleaned from the air.

Got friends in L.A., a grandma in Beijing, or a child you want to keep safe? Keep tabs on your loved ones' air quality.

Check out macro air quality levels with Air Bubbles, our free companion iOS app.

As our community grows, we can even combine everyone’s tracker data to create a worldwide crowdsourced air quality map—the Waze of air quality. This would open the doors to hyper-local air quality info that could help people around the globe stay healthy.

We worked with Mike Nuttall, one of the co-founders of IDEO, to bring Wynd to life. He designed numerous beautiful and successful consumer electronic products, so we knew he’d help us create a product that’s beautiful and easy to use.

Watch Mike discuss his philosophy behind the design of Wynd:

Wynd was designed to fit in anywhere.

Wynd includes a dynamic 360-degree LED light ring that indicates air quality, airflow, battery level, and filter use.

We don’t believe in just having low, medium, and high settings: Wynd enables you to gradually adjust its purification level from 0 to 100—to find the setting that’s most comfortable for you—by turning the top knob left or right.

The evolution of early Wynd prototypes

Airflow design
Our engineering lead, Eric, is an aerospace engineer who worked on the design of jet and rocket turbine blades before joining Wynd. He used his airflow expertise to craft Wynd’s patent-pending fluid dynamics.

We designed a low-turbulence, high-airflow system that keeps Wynd small while enabling it to clean a high volume of air and stay quiet.

Watch Eric discuss how he designed some of Wynd's airflow features:
