What child has not dreamed of having a house in a tree?  The idea of being able to climb a tree and live in freedom and harmony with nature is something that appeals to every human being and the best place to find all those feelings it is to do inside these houses.

A lucky few sure they could fulfill that dream of having a house in a tree when they were small. However, most mortals have to settle us take a look at that today can be considered as the tree houses most beautiful and spectacular in the world.

Most  tree houses  are small recreational buildings built in the backyards with garden for the little ones spend a few hours in them.

However, others are authentic luxury hotels or homes that have become the most popular attractions for tourists in the area. This is the case of this tree house located in  British Columbia, Canada.

The School Of The Future

Modern schools in developed countries look not the same they used to 50 years ago. The first most significant difference is much less paper. Instead of looking for information in bulky encyclopedias and catalogues, teachers and children use electronic databases and Wikipedia. But it is only the beginning. Leading Google experts tried to imagine how it would look like in 50 years.

Total Cooperation

Jonathan Rochelle, a director of Google department Apps for Education, supposes that by 2066, due to the spread of virtual technologies and additional reality, the cooperation between pupils will increase. Nowadays, if pupils need to work at one shared project they have to meet in one place, commonly in school, but in the future they will not have to do it as technologies will provide more opportunities for remote work.

In 2006 Rochelle was one of the developers of Google Docs package. Since then he has been working at many similar products, in particular at Google Classroom cloud platform that allows to improve and simplify the work of a teacher. Rochelle supposes that in the future schools will use such services on permanent basis, because even today we can see how the Internet is changing all spheres of our life. “We shouldn’t ignore the importance of social interaction and cooperation”, says Rochelle.

In the future children will be assessed and directed with the help of intellectual algorithms. It stands without saying, that we will not have fixed classes of children of the same age. Since the beginning of educational courses, the groups will be formed for each separate subject or aspect considering the abilities of pupils.

Such a system will allow to use the whole educational process more efficiently. Moreover, it will help to develop the abilities and skills that are predominant for each child that will result in early and successful career orientation.

Educational programs will also be formed individually, accordingly with pupils desires. Of course, there will be some general curriculum compulsory for all children. But then the technology, taking into consideration capacities and desires of each person, will decide what course will be optimal for the person. This will create the conditions to educate professionals and experts in some specific fields.

Robots and Teachers
The School Of The Future

The artificial intelligence has been improved a lot for 50 years and now devices can teach sometimes even better then live teachers. Even today in some Japanese banks human like robots are working as cashiers and porters near the door. By 2066 such robots can work as teachers. However, may be we will see such robots even earlier. We are likely to experience such changes really soon.

However, nobody can replace live teachers and the feedback they can provide. Besides, they will have to help engineers and scientist to introduce this school reform. Experts will not be able to cope with such a difficult task without the help of teachers knowing many peculiarities of work with children.

See The Good Only

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is
full of the goodness of the LORD (Psalm 33:5).

Some people are always fishing for the wrong
things; they never see good in anything or
anywhere. They know all the bad things happening
around, and are prompt to spread gossip, falsehood
and negative information. Such people end up twisted
in life, because they never see or celebrate the good
in anything.
Whereas, there’re those who always think and
care about the good; they see good in everything. No
matter what it is, they only look out for, and celebrate
the good. They’re forever “good-conscious”; not
because they’re naïve, but because of the excellence
of their personality. That’s how God expects you to
live. The Bible says the earth is full of the goodness of
the Lord; that’s all you should see—only good things.
People who peddle rumours and bad news, and
only see the negative side of everything can’t make
much progress in life. Their values keep depreciating,
and everyone who wants to make progress avoids
them. Successful people don’t want to keep the
company of people who are negatively programmed;
they avoid them. The Bible says, “Iron sharpeneth
iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his  friend” (Proverbs 27:17).
Read the latter part of our opening verse again; it says, “…the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD” (Psalm 33:5). Choose to see the glory and goodness of God in your world. Yes, the Bible says the dark places of the earth are filled with the habitations of cruelty,
but it doesn’t change the fact that the earth is full of the goodness of God. Don’t be concerned about the evil reports so much so that they produce the negative response from you; be excited about the goodness of God. The truth is, if all you see and seek is the goodness of the Lord, that’s surely what you’ll experience.
The earth is full of the goodness
of the Lord; thus, I see and
experience good things only. My
life is a daily manifestation of the
glory and beauty of God as I think
about His goodness, accept, and
celebrate His excellence that I
see around me, in Jesus’ Name.

The Idolatry of People-Pleasing

The Idolatry of People-Pleasing
What if I'm more afraid to displease important people than God?

Written by GodLife on 13/09/2016
Series: Weekly Devotional
Tags: Relationships, Influence, Submission, Idolatry
So now run away to your place. I said I would give you much honor, but the Lord has kept you from honor.

Numbers 24:11
A story in the Bible's book of Numbers shows how dangerous the desire to “please men” can be (Colossians 3:22). This story is mentioned a lot in the Bible. Each mention comes with a warning.

God wants us to take note: what can this story teach us about ourselves?

1. It is Dangerous To Look For God’s Permission And Not His Approval
Fearing Israel, King Balak sent for the prophet Balaam. God told Balaam not to go. King Balak persisted, so Balaam asked God again.

God seemed persuaded: he gave Balaam permission to go. On his journey, the donkey he was riding was blocked by an angel with a drawn sword. The donkey refused to keep going, angering Balaam so much that he beat the animal. Before he could kill her, God allowed the donkey to speak, warning him of the danger. God then opened Balaam’s eyes to see the angel standing ready to kill him!

Just as the donkey’s actions went against Balaam’s plan for her, Balaam himself had nearly been killed for resisting God. But Balaam presses again, and finds the permission, (not the approval), of God.

2. There is Danger in Getting Around God’s Purposes
Accompanying the messengers back to Midian, Balaam at first blesses Israel instead of cursing them. God had warned him to do only as he was told. (Numbers 22:20) Balak is furious. Later we’re told (Numbers 31:16) that Balaam taught the Midianite women to seduce the Israelite men into idolatry. (Numbers 25:1-3) Terrified by Balak, Balaam cunningly thought of a way to curse the Israelites without speaking the curse himself, still a violation of God's instructions.

3. The Outcome of the Fear of Man
Balaam’s conduct shows perversion in a believer's walk:

The “way of Balaam” (2 Peter 2:15) — “against” God. (Numbers 22:32) If it was to his advantage, Balaam didn’t fear taking God's mercy for granted. In his heart, he said, “God has said ‘no’ to this–maybe there's a way I can do it anyway.”
The “error of Balaam” (Jude 11) — failing to learn the lesson of the encounter. Balaam was physically stopped and even threatened.
The “doctrine of Balaam” (Revelation 2:14) — passing this attitude along. Balaam was willing to try to spoil the purpose of God.

Presumption leads to the error of trying to get around God’s will. This means we manipulate, teach or become a bad example, leading others down the same corrupt path. Balaam may have said the Lord was his God. But he had idolatry in his life all along: respect of human favor over God’s. How much will God allow if we presume upon His grace? Balaam’s idolatry led him to serve God’s enemies, curse himself (Numbers 23:9) and demonstrate God’s denial of his prayers (Numbers 23:10) in the manner of his death. (Numbers 31:8)

Pray this week:

Father, I surrender myself to you again. I want your way to prevail in my life. Protect me from presumptuous sin.

Maintain Your Confession Of The Word

When thou passest through the waters, I will be
with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not
overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned…(Isaiah 43:2).
When you study God’s Word, the economic
problems and upheavals in the world today
wouldn’t be a surprise to you. The socio-economic
conditions in our world today must not dictate the
circumstances of our existence. They must not control
our faith in the Word of God. The Bible says those who
know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits
(Daniel 11:32).
As a child of God, the troubles in the world are
not set against you. Your prosperity is independent
of inflation, economic meltdowns and downturns.
You’re not of this world. You’re the seed of Abraham.
Refuse to fret or be anxious, for if you faint in the day
of adversity, your strength is small (Proverbs 24:10).
The Lord is your strength. Remain strong in Him and
in the power of His might.
Read what He says about you in the times of
dryness, scarcity, and crises: “Blessed is the man that
trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For
he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that
spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see
when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither
shall cease from yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8). Glory to God! Let this be your testimony today and always, because it’s God’s Word concerning you. You’re a victor and a success in Christ Jesus, regardless of the crises and adversities in today’s world.
The darkness isn’t about to go away, for the Bible says, “…behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
and gross darkness the people”; but the scripture didn’t stop there; it continues, “…but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee” (Isaiah 60:2). In the midst of the darkness, you’ll shine brightly. Actually, the darker the night, the more brightly your light will shine. Therefore, rejoice, because the Lord your God is your prosperity. There’s no failure for you; so there’s no need to fear. Maintain your composure, and your confession of the Word.
Dear Father, you’re my refuge
and my shield; I put my trust in
you alone, knowing that in you
I have life and all that I require
to live triumphantly to the glory
of your Name. I live above the
economies and economics of
this world; I’m prospering and
making progress from glory to
glory through the Word, and
power of the Spirit, in Jesus’
Name. Amen.

Be Ruled By The Word

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye
through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body,
ye shall live (Romans 8:13).
As a child of God, you’re an ambassador of
Christ. That’s how He sees you. You’re His
representative. That’s why it’s important that your
behaviour conforms to the Word. Be ruled by the
Word. Don’t live according to your flesh. Don’t be
controlled by your emotions. Give no place to carnality
in your life. Be spiritually minded. Spend time on the
Word and yield yourself to the Holy Spirit to work
through you.
Remember, He sees your heart; if you’re hungry
for Him; if you’re zealous and passionate for Him and
the spread of the Gospel, He’ll see to it that you’re a
success in life. So, you’ve got to align yourself with His
thoughts. Let nothing stop you from living a life that’s
pleasing to the Lord. Let your life be to the praise and
glory of the One who called you.
Walk in the Spirit; the Bible says, “This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the
flesh” (Galatians 5:16). Walking in the Spirit is walking
in the Word; living according to God’s Word. As long
as you can have bitterness in your heart, you’re not

walking in the Spirit; as long as you’re still involved in some worldly, carnal machinations, you’re not walking in the Spirit. Refuse to be body-ruled. Live beyond the senses, for Christianity is life in the spirit. Don’t live in accordance to how you feel; live in accordance to the Word. You’re not of this world; you’re born of the Word. Jesus said, “I’m from above,” and so are you;
you’re from above. Therefore, “set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians3:2). Don’t think, talk, or act like the world. Let theWord of God dominate your thinking and control your life.
I’m born of the Spirit, and I’m
fully yielded to His leading,
guidance and control; I don’t
fulfil the desires of the flesh. I’m
fulfilling God’s perfect will, and
living out my destiny in Him. I
yield my spirit to Him only, to be
instructed and guided in wisdom
to please the Lord in all things.

See And Manifest The Glory

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory
of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the
darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness
the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and
his glory shall be seen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1-2).
When, as a Christian, it seems like you’re
under pressure at work, or there’s an
unpleasant doctor’s report regarding your health, or
your bank account is in red, don’t cry; don’t complain.
Don’t fret or become despondent. Rather, get into
your closet, and contemplate the glory of God. If it’s
a financial challenge, declare that you’re the seed of
Abraham. Abraham’s seed can’t be broke or poor!
You’re the possessor of all things, because you’re an
heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.
Times of challenges aren’t times for you to run
helter-skelter, seeking help from man, no; trust in the
Lord! He’s your help. If you have a financial need for
example, declare, “I have all the money I require in the
Name of Jesus; it comes to me by free course.” Make the declaration with faith, boldness and confidence, and it’ll be according to your word! Let nothing make
you fret. You’re called to manifest the glory of God. Despite
the darkness and hardship in today’s world, you’re more than a conqueror. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus. You can never be disadvantaged. Christ in you is the hope of glory. See yourself in the glory. See yourself walking in the glory, carrying and manifesting the glory
of God in your academics, in your job, health, family, finances, etc. See the glory in your life.
The Bible talks about the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11). Right after the sufferings of Christ, a life of glory ensued! He suffered so that you’d live in the glory. Therefore, live and walk in the light of your righteousness, victory, success, dominion, health and prosperity in Christ Jesus, and say “no” to defeat, failure, weakness and the down-life.

You’re The Blessed Of The Lord

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
Notice the construction above; the Apostle
Paul wasn’t praying or making entreaties or
begging God for spiritual blessings, no! It’s an energetic
outburst of luxuriant, profuse, and exuberant worship.
He glorifies the Lord who has blessed us with all
spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. He had the
mentality that he was already blessed with all spiritual
blessings that exist, and became poetic in praise. This
should be your testimony!
Be full of praise to God because there’s nothing
you don’t have, and there’s nothing you can’t do!
You’ve been endowed spiritually with all things, and
for all things. Why did Paul use the phrase “spiritual
blessings?” It’s because if you have the spiritual
blessings, then you have all earthly blessings, because
the spiritual gives birth to the physical. The lesser is
included in the greater.
This world came from the spirit realm. The Bible
says in the beginning, God created the heaven and the
earth (Genesis 1:1). God is a Spirit; so, the spirit-world
pre-existed the physical world. Therefore, the spiritual
blessings are greater than the physical blessings,
because they’re the ones that give rise to the physical blessings. So, there’s no need to beg God to bless you; instead, become exuberant with Him in praise for already blessing you with all spiritual blessings. He’s given you all things (1 Corinthians 3:21), and made you a partaker of His divine nature (2 Peter1:4). He’s made you sufficient in His sufficiency; to be fruitful and productive in every good work. He’s given you His Spirit to lead and guide you in wisdom to fulfil your destiny in Him and be all that He’s ordained you to be. This should be your thinking, testimony, and
worship. Learn to say, “Blessed be God, who has blessed me in all things, and made me the testimony of His glory and revelation of His grace and righteousness.” You’re the blessed of the Lord, and not only that, you’re also the conveyor and vent of His blessings.
Dear heavenly Father, I worship
and extol your Majesty today,
for you’ve blessed me with
all spiritual blessings in the
heavenly realms in Christ.
I’m conscious that I’m the
conveyor of your blessings,
imparting my generation with
the blessings of your Kingdom,
in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Way Out/ Sharing Burdens

Scripture:  “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”  (1 Corinthians 10:13)

The Way Out

The same writer who said he was "crushed and overwhelmed beyond [his own] ability to endure" wrote this. It is a great promise to claim, but God never meant for you to withstand every temptation on your own. Don't remain within the depressing, discouraging or enticing temptation. Flee to the escape His faithfulness provides for you – that's not calling Him a liar when He says you can stand it – it's the definition of withstanding it.

Sharing Burdens

Your Christian family can help you escape. The Bible tells us to confess our faults – not just to Him but to one another. (James 5:16) Ask Him to show you what you might need help with
